Wednesday 24th April 2019 saw Stormfront Productions again proud to fully sponsor
the sound & lights production for the Opening Ceremony of the Whyalla ANZAC Eve Vigil.
To open proceedings Alison Hams sang a touching rendition of The Band Played Waltzing Matilda
and 2018 Whyalla Recording Scholarship WINNER Shakira Lea closed the ceremony by performing the National Anthem.
At the Vigil - in the spirit of the ANZAC tradition -
young people stand guard at the Whyalla War Memorial Cenotaph
rotating in shifts from 6pm Anzac Eve until 6am Anzac Day.
Mayor Clare McLaughlin addressed the large crowd of
participants & public who gathered to pay tribute to our fallen heroes,
& congratulated all who made the evening such a solemn & worthwhile occasion.
