An ASTONISHING year of achievements & adventures -
here's our wrap on an amazing 12 months!

JANUARY

2022 began with everyone looking forward to a world slowly easing back into a post-Covid "normal" -
at Stormfront we already had a strong enrolment started for our Private Tuition,
and were in the process of writing up our 2022 Samaritan School Band Programme.

Since December Mark had spent over 160 hours in-studio with a 4-song Pro Demo for student Dani Rivas -
CHECK OUT Dani's world class vocal performances & fully sponsored Lyric Videos which launched here:

THE CHRISTMAS SONG

UNBREAK MY HEART

STRONGER

FIGHTER

In between a revolving door of studio clients Mark was also putting in a vast amount of
time and energy with Alison co-writing, performing, recording and mixing our own
new songs towards our planned new album launch scheduled for the end of the year.

The new album would cover our enormous & complex journey in music & in life since we got together in December 2003 - Mark's last
commercial release was in 2003 when his album "The Long Highway" hit the Australian Country Music Top 10 multiple times,
Ali's "Jelly Baby Song" Project peaked at #3 on the iTunes Australia Childrens Chart back in 2013.

Excitingly as part of this process - after nearly a decade-long standoff with ABC Music Publishing, we
finally managed to secure a route to recording and releasing via Universal Music "Finally Home" -
a brilliant song co-written by Ali, her friend and fellow great songwriter Mark Drilling,
and Australian Country Music royalty Gina Jeffreys back in 2004.

The world would now finally hear "Finally Home" - and
it was an honour to at last be able to record the as-yet unrecorded masterpiece!

In further preparations towards our new album releasing close to Christmas, Mark (wearing his Programming hat)
spent 150 hours renovating our existing websites www.alisonhams.com and www.marktempany.com -
plus renewed several of our other websites including www.whyallarecording.com.

Our forthcoming new album also saw Mark totally re-design and manufacture a new 2-CD album pack for
Alison's "Daisy Train" (2004) and "Remember" (2006) albums - we can't recommend Implant Media
in Melbourne enough for the brilliant work they do for Independent Artists and their products!

January ended on an unexpected note when Samaritan College notified us we could not recommence on their campuses until
mid-March due to new Covid restrictions (we were deemed not to be part of the school i.e. Contractors - so were barred).

This really interfered with the rest of the year for the School Band Programme -
in effect we lost virtually all of Term 1 by the time we were able to be on-site
and running with all preliminary set-ups done.

Our debut at Whyalla's Sunrise Christian School was allowed to commence from the start
of Term 1 as we were deemed part of their school.

Sunrise 2022 would prove to be a great addition to our roster, and the support and care
they've shown us has been outstanding. We've really enjoyed maintaining a
bulging 8.15am-3.30pm Wednesday schedule there all year!

FEBRUARY

In quicktime our Private Lesson Roster started at The Centre
with another bumper year of students to contend with.

Studio-wise Mark was using the downtime available from our non-start at Samaritan College to complete
several new Original demo songs for Whyalla-based singer and songwriter Deb Bradley.

We conducted several major print, television and radio interviews across the Region to help promote our upcoming
Port Augusta performance with Deborah Brennan for her "A Case Of You - The Songs Of Joni Mitchell" being
brought to the Lea Memorial Theatre as part of the 2022 Adelaide Fringe Festival.

In planning towards Music Video's to come as part of our new album Mark spent many hours researching and finding
resources regarding his family's history in Far North Queensland, and the WA Kimberley in the 1940's and 1950's.

With Storyboarding done for the Music Video of one of Ali's album tracks - "Broken Ground" -
we made bookings and completed planning and set construction to take our music, and video studio
to Edeowie Station an hour north of Hawker for a shoot during the first week of the April school holiday break.

Those following the disgrace of Whyalla's 2021 LIONS "Carols In The Park" event will sadly not be surprised that we
received a letter from LIONS - their first and only contact with us since they'd denied any changes with the event were
happening in October 2021 - stating that they had ceased all involvement with the event.

Thereby Stormfront - after 17 years staging the event for the Whyalla community -
had been removed without a single word of consultation in a move orchestrated by Whyalla City Council,
in order to hand the event to Cr Tamy Pond, and the dead end Whyalla Music Music Association.

Last November Council CEO Justin Commons left us a phone message saying we "had our wires crossed" in suggesting this was happening -
especially galling to us when for the nearly 2 decades we'd been involved the Whyalla City Council had refused to even list our event
(which under our control grew to become Regional SA's biggest free public concert) on their website "because it wasn't a Council event".

We did last November ask Mr Commons to answer us in-writing regarding this charade and the clear direction it was taking
to remove us - and have since told Cr Pond in-writing that what has happened here towards us, and this event is shameful.

Not surprisingly we're yet to receive any response from either party!

MARCH

March began with the disappointment we've all become accustomed to of late - with only 2 days to go our Port Augusta performance
had to be cancelled when Deb Brennan caught Covid and had to isolate in Adelaide. With her busy performance calendar she was unable to
re-schedule her Regional SA shows - a big loss for us and everyone in the Regions.

We continued our full sponsorship and operation of sound gear for Whyalla Swimming Club's annual day-long Regional Swimming Carnival
at the Whyalla Leisure Centre - we're always happy to help our community if we're asked.

After our unexpected hiatus we were able to start Private Lessons and the School Band Programme across Samaritan College's 3 campuses.

Now in our fifth year of coordinating this Band Programme - it's 2022 enrolment hit a new high of nearly 60 kids as
we worked our way through the challenge of getting instruments hired & timetables sorted to get underway 5 weeks later than planned!

APRIL

Junior student Annie travelled to be part of the SA Primary Schools Choir performing at Adelaide's Anzac Day Ceremony.

Ali's album track "Broken Ground" returned from Grammy Award-winning Mastering Engineer Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound in New York -
it's always great working with this league of our music industry team.

We began reacquainting ourselves with a long list of our long-standing music industry friends towards album promotions to come later in the year.

It was great to catch up with a heap of colleagues we've worked on and off with for decades - and in particular to
share their own harrowing experiences as Covid overnight had severed their careers for the last 2.5 years.

As school holidays arrived we took ourselves for 3 days to Edeowie Station (60km north of Hawker) to film Ali's music video footage for "Broken Ground".

What a stellar location - and what great results we got as we traversed the plains, sandhills and ranges.

Thanks so much to Wendy and Peter for allowing us to go anywhere and do anything - now just wait 'til you see it folks!

MAY

As Australia went through a Federal Election (and subsequent change-of-government) we were so proud to see Mark's
Online Melbourne student Angus busking at his local Polling Booth to raise money for his school.

What a legend, what a great result with nearly $300 raised Mr A!

Our "Finally Home" master arrived from Randy in New York and we're SO proud of
the end result of this long undiscovered song which now was coming soon!

Mark's decade's long friendship and Professional involvement with Country Music Legend John McSweeney was renewed
as Mark produced the artwork & coordinated manufacturing for John's new "Look At Us Now" album release.

Over the years Stormfront has designed countless CD and DVD releases for the multiple Gold and Platinum-selling artist -
and it's always an honour to work with such a Legend, and such a gentleman who's supported Mark and his music for decades.

John embodies the very best of the music industry - and there's MANY locals who need to learn from his example.

At Sunrise Christian School Alison began volunteering her Recesses to a group of Year 6 girls keen to start a band -
this would continue to year's end and watch out everyone as this talented crew would start performing soon!

JUNE

Long time Junior student Janke came into the studio to record her debut Original Single
and did an astonishing job playing piano and singing her song.

CHECK OUT Janke's sponsored
"Stronger With You" Lyric Video
here!

We were moved (especially lifelong fan Alison) to attend a Premiere viewing of Baz Luhrmann's new
"Elvis" movie - what a powerful, artistic & remarkable production by all involved!

Austin Butler has undoubtedly introduced the music of "The King" to a whole new generation.

Mark's Melbourne Online student Angus was keeping busy - this month rocking out at his
high school's feature performance at the Transport Hotel right off Federation Square.

JULY

July began with really sad & unexpected news - our wonderful Koen family were leaving to live in Tasmania.

In quick time we said farewell to Marinus & Lize, Josh, Imke, Janke & Amike - guys it's been a joy having you all,
we'll miss you all terribly but we hope Tassie answers all the dreams you all have!

Mid year also saw us farewell the Lewis family - we hope Penny & Daisy have an absolute adventure as they travel Australia!

Talk about "Three strikes and you're out!" - our superstar adult student Dani
accepted a fantastic job in Sydney and was leaving Whyalla immediately.

We farewelled Dani with hopes she'd be back at Christmas to add to her already impressive Recording achievements!

Meanwhile Junior student Annie was recording her own debut Single which is powering beyond 2,500 YouTube Views -

CHECK OUT Annie's fantastic & sponsored
"Goodbye My Friend" Lyric Video
here!

Ali recorded a Feature Interview with MTASA's Pete Barter which was streamed all over SA,
discussing Music Education and its many faces, and challenges.

Along with Ali's mum and dad we adventured to Point Lowly to take a glass-bottomed boat cruise with Cutty's to view our area's
world-significant Giant Cuttlefish breeding - a fragile natural treasure on our doorstep, and an entirely "Other World!"

Sunrise Christian School's new TV ad started airing across Regional SA with Junior student Annie a highlight, strumming guitar along with Alison!

Our album project saw Mark utilising the cutting edge online Aria Mastering service based in Atlanta, Georgia USA for several
of our new album tracks. Aria uses a robot arm to operate real analogue mastering equipment by taking a combination of preset,
and your own settings to tailor tracks to your liking, ready for release.

Such incredible possibilities seem a universe beyond where the two of us began recording music back in the early 1990's -
back in the days of giant reels of tape, only your ears for reference, and no such thing as the internet, or computers!

In exciting news Samaritan College confirmed they'd again be requiring Stormfront to stage their music performances for
the second annual Samaritan Shines event planned for November - and so our planning began!

With this and other events coming back on-line after Covid we invested in another $4500 worth of
PA equipment to cover our hopefully now on-going staging demands.

AUGUST

Through the wonders of the NBN Internet our new album track "Closer" began production utilising the "Hall Of Fame" and
Grammy Award-winning talents of Michael Cleveland (Fiddle) and Scott Vestal (Banjo) in the USA.

Mike and Scott are such legends & such incredible gentlemen that we're vastly honoured to be able to work with them -
and even more so to see them both leave us glowing Reviews for the fun they had working with us.

Again - THIS is how real musicians of real talent behave in support of their colleagues - even if we're a world away from each other!

"Closer" was subsequently mastered to perfection by our friend Steve Corrao at Sage Audio in Nashville.

Senior student & and enormous talent Logan was busy working in-studio completing his awesome debut Original Single "Left Behind" -
he also found time with his school music team to travel and play at the 2022 Cleve Field Day.

Stormfront students were everywhere during August - Senior student Mairead came home with a bag of trophies from the annual Balaklava Eisteddfod,
Angus in Melbourne performed "Solid Rock" at his footy semi-final, and a host of our Senior students sang at Samaritan College's Patrons Day.

Ali's extended interview with Pete Barter headlined in MTASA's print newsletter - and we ran a
week of fully sponsored trial exam nights for students about to undertake their annual AMEB Music Exams.

Mark donated his time and managed to get Samaritan College's Portable PA System working again saving thousands of dollars for the College - and in an
impressive achievement Alison gained a Distinction in completing her Rockschool RSL LEVEL 6 Professional Licentiate Diploma in Creative Enterprise (LRSL).

This is the equivalent of a Bachelors With Honours Degree and Ali will officially graduate at a formal ceremony
at the University Of Adelaide's Elder Hall in the first half of 2023.

Towards recording our final three new album tracks we began a working relationship with Nashville-based Percussionist
Kayleigh Moyer who'd soon bring us stunning results to round out the project.

Towards the trienniel Samaritan Spectacular to stage at Middleback Theatre in November
Mark fully sponsored and produced Senior student Katie's custom backing track for the gig.

SEPTEMBER

September 1st saw us fully sponsoring and staging Whyalla's annual AMEB Music Exam Day - this year with a
record number of exam candidates sitting their exam for Adelaide Examiner Thomas Saunders.

We're so proud to have fully sponsored & staged this opportunity for several years now -
it's so important to give Regional students the chance to examine at home when
their only other option is "In Adelaide" far away from their teachers.

CHECK OUT AMEB 2022 here!

As a nice statewide feature ABC North & West, and Broken Hill aired an extensive interview with Alison and
Senior student Ciara to explain to the community what music exams entailed, and touch on the hidden-to-most-people
world of music examining that goes on across SA (and Australia!) every year.

CHECK OUT Ali & Ciara's interview here!

September also saw Mark's commencement of final artwork for our forthcoming new album - several photo shoots & recon missions
by us around the Whyalla area saw productive progress made. Stormfront produces everything in-house -
from writing the songs to selling them via CD and Music Video all over the world.

In Nashville our stellar Percussionist Kayleigh Moyer was laying down some exceptional tracks for our title track -
their arrival in-studio was really exciting and inspiring as KM just nailed it!

At Middleback Arts Centre as part of the 2 annual Whyalla Combined Primary School Choir concerts we mentored & played for
Junior student Annie who knocked it out of the park with her Original Guest Feature song "Goodbye My Friend".

A large number of Stormfront students also performed as part of the Choir, with many also featuring as Choir Soloists.

CHECK OUT the night here!

The Choir night also saw long-term Senior student Logan (on the eve of his new Debut Single launching) rock it out as a Feature Act!

Professional Development is important to us as we consistently look for global research & learning opportunities to complement our extensive suite
of qualifications, certifications, and professional memberships. This ensures students and clients can have the utmost confidence in our
continued development, experience, knowledge, and real-world track record in the music industry.

Completing the "Foundations Of Estill Voice" course introduced us to this scientific method
of voice and anatomy training which can help range, flexibility & endurance.

Most people have no idea what's required to be a Professional Musician - and for us one of many major annual costs is placing Music Insurance for ourselves,
our equipment & any public liabilities we or our students incur. Without such cover we aren't allowed to work and since Covid most insurers in Australia are
refusing to cover any Musicians at all because we've all been classified as "too risky" in a world where lockdowns & pandemics reign.

This year our broker was able to place our cover so we can continue - but now at over $5000 p.a. (pre-Covid it was $1200 p.a.) these policies are
quickly becoming a death knell for MANY in the Music Industry - it's very worrying times.

In exciting news Sunrise Christian School booked us to provide sound, lighting and some music content
for their debut-but-to-be-annual Christmas Concert set to be staged in December.

Cr Tamy Pond emailed us saying she'd be happy to send us and/or our students a songlist to choose from if we wanted to sing
at "her" "Carols In The Park" in December, stating that they'd now be singing "familiar" songs at the event.

This email also stated that Lions had written to her and the Whyalla Music Association requesting them to run this event.

We replied that neither we, nor any students under our banner, would be associating with such a shameful group of people who'd been abetted by
the Whyalla City Council to steal the community event we'd dedicated our last 17 years to - and especially not with the
multiple trolls now performing at it including Emily Rawlings and members of the "Jack Daw" and "Hold My Beer" Bands.

Gobsmackingly next month Cr Pond - in her printed Council (re)election blurb - would be bragging that she "runs Whyalla's "Carols In The Park" -
quite a claim given we ran it from 2004-2020, never intended retiring from the event and were set to stage in 2021 before Lions pulled the pin against
our advice, and given the extremely negative feedback we continue to receive about the awful event staged by Cr Pond in 2021?!

We've made a pact to revisit the event in 2038 to rate how well these thieves and trolls have served the Whyalla community.

September also saw Mark donating his time to successfully repair the school bell
amplifier at Samaritan Saint Johns Campus.

OCTOBER

As October dawned Mark had virtually completed our new album artwork,
save a few remaining credits to be added once our last 3 songs were Mixed, Mastered and complete.

From the design, to all photography, and overseeing the final manufacturing Mr T. does it all!

Song-wise Ali's final Solo track for our album was with Colin Leonard at SING! Mastering in Atlanta, Georgia USA -
it was sensational to hear the results as the Internet carried them back to us!

12 year old Junior student Jack H. swung by the Studio to record his debut studio demo -
a Medley of classic rock guitar songs. What a talent and "the sky's the limit!"

Sunday 9th October saw Senior student Logan release his amazing debut Original Single "Left Behind" - proudly recorded at Stormfront.

Along with much and varied music industry and music release mentoring from us over recent weeks towards this
milestone moment - we are so proud to see Logan's 10 years of tuition culminate in this ultimate achievement.

Making music that matters - Original music - is the best thing any musician can do.

Logan has talent by the bucketload so we hope this is just the start for his musical journey - and we
were chuffed only days later to hear his new song airing on inner city Melbourne radio & Internationally (in the UK)!

CHECK OUT Logan's "Left Behind" here!

On the same day Ali appeared in the SUNDAY MAIL as part of a 2-page special titled "They're Simply Inspirational" -
highlighting "the remarkable high achievers who call SA home" this article aligned with the launch of the "New State Of Mind" campaign.

From Brisbane our long time Music Industry friend & legendary Country Music Entertainer John McSweeney again called on us to
design artwork for, and manufacture his new CD album project being pitched to major National print medias.

Thanks John for continuing to be such a friend and supporter of ours - you're such a gentleman in an Industry not renowned for such decency!

As our school holiday break proved to be anything but - we kept our interstate Online lessons running, commenced filming Con Brio Video Music Exams,
and staged a very fun Bucket Drumming Workshop for Sunrise Christian School OSHC.

CHECK OUT our Sunrise Bucket Drummers here!

Finally we were able to confirm, and start recruiting for a "Stormfront Students SING & PLAY" performance opportunity courtesy of
Whyalla's McHappy Day in November - it's been such a long (nearly 3 years) drought for our vital live performance programme due to Covid -
just maybe we're at last heading back towards a normal footing, fingers crossed!

As an interesting aside after our many involvements with McHappy Day since 2005....

The same group of trolls and Whyalla Music Association personnel now stealing our stage at "Carols In The Park" back in 2017 walked into the
Whyalla Maccas store to tell the restaurant managers that "we'd left town so they had to give the gig to them". Not only was this a
blatant and malicious lie but we were astonished that the managers at that time didn't even bother to contact us as they
handed the 2017 event to these losers (sounds like a familiar tactic really doesn't it?).

Come 2018 the Whyalla store asked us to run McHappy Day once more because the previous year had been such a failure - at which point these people again walked
into the store and intimidated the Duty manager to agree to hand the event back to them instead. We made a formal complaint to the (by then) new store owner and we
raised an official complaint with McDonalds Australia and Ronald McDonald House - and upon reviewing our 2017 evidence the store owner
dismissed these people stating that they'd never come near his restaurant again.

Meanwhile Kayleigh in Nashville was cranking out our 2 other songs worth of outstanding Percussion,
and as fast as she was sending it Mark was mixing it to get us to our album!

By mid-month Mark had our final tracks enroute to one of the world's leading Mastering Engineers
Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound Nashville, Tennessee USA - Ted began his work in sound engineering in the
early seventies when he recorded & mastered bands like The Eagles, The Rolling Stones and Chicago.

(Ted had already mastered another of our our new tracks - "Lullaby").

As October started to fade we received an emergency call from Port Augusta School of The Air -
their Online Piano Lesson teacher (actually their second since the start of 2022!) had quit without warning and they were
desperate to find a replacement willing & able to get their kids to a December 10th end-of-year Recital in Port Augusta!

"As usual" Stormfront to the rescue - within a week we'd assumed control of this programme for SOTA students as far flung as
the NT border and were teaching a wonderful group of students ranging from Years 2 to 5 who had now joined our Stormfront family!

It was hoped and planned that our SOTA programme could continue, if not expand in 2023!

More great news arrived early as Samaritan College renewed our 2023 contract to provide their School Band Programme
for a sixth year, plus provide our Stormfront Private Peripatetic Tutoring services for our twentieth year.

Samaritan's continued support for what we do guarantees our ability to remain in Whyalla each year -
and there's even talk of an expansion in 2023 so fingers crossed!

Our final preparations were also underway for our contingent of performers at the upcoming Samaritan Spectacular
to stage early next month at Middleback Arts Centre.

Running over 3 days - SAMSPEC 2022 would see Stormfront providing nearly 100 performers on-stage including our Primary
and Secondary School Band
contingent of close to 60, a Ukulele Ensemble of 30+, plus 4 Soloists.

NOVEMBER

November promised and delivered an astonishing list of achievements!

First cab off the rank was our massive participation in the 2022 Samaritan Spectacular at Middleback Arts Centre -
SAMSPEC is the 3-campus College's trienniel ultimate celebration of arts, music and performance.

This year Stormfront ended up providing 6 Feature Acts taking nearly 100 performers on
and off the Theatre stage over the course of a bumper programme with bumper crowds.

We "bumped in" to set up & soundcheck all day Wednesday 2nd, ran Dress Rehearsal plus an afternoon Concert Performance
on Thursday 3rd, before putting the icing on the cake with a fabulous final public Concert Friday 4th.

Our Feature Soloists - Ciara, Isabella, Katie & Nyasha - each truly shone like the stars they are.

Our Primary Ukulele Group had everyone clapping along with their colourful rendition of "Don't Worry, Be Happy",
and our Samaritan College Band simply blew everyone away after another record year of enrolments!

CHECK OUT 2022 Samaritan Spectacular here!

The very next day we were celebrating Junior student Annie's WIN at the
2022 Young Composers Awards Competition to be held in Adelaide's Elder Hall on November 21st!

Annie would perform her winning song "Goodbye My Friend" on the night,
and she is now Stormfront's third WINNER of this prestigious State award.

Meanwhile Ted Jensen had sent through our final album tracks mastered brilliantly - including the
album's Title Track plus a very special extra version of it to close the project!

Mark now had just final tweaks to artwork and track compilations to complete in order to
bring this epic project to the point of manufacture and release!!

Again - this album has seen Mark produce, record & mix EVERYTHING over the last 3 years -
at all hours of the day and night, while maintaining everything else we do.

Every song takes many hundreds of hours intense focus to produce -
Music Videos take at least 10 times that workrate,
so for our impending 13-track album as they say....
"You do the math!"

Mark's further completed ALL artwork from taking photo's to coordinating the album's manufacture,
AND actually been songwriter, singer and/or musician on every track - that's
an extraordinarily superhuman effort that anywhere else exhausts a team of at least 20 people!!

November 12-13th saw Ali & Mark making a whistlestop return trip to Adelaide to perform at a very
special North Adelaide event - THANK YOU so much Jenna for babysitting Studio Cat Gypsy!

Saturday 19th November saw Stormfront's Whyalla McHappy Day return after a 2 year absence due to Covid.

In an exciting and incredibly varied return to the stage our Stormfront Students Sing & Play team
rocked it out for 2.5 non-stop hours with Solo's, Instrumentals, Originals and
guest appearances by our Samaritan College Band Ensemble and Sunrise Year 6 Band.

We are especially proud of the 11 members of the crew who made their Stormfront Stage Debut so well!

CHECK OUT 2022 McHappy Day here!

Wednesday 23rd November saw Stormfront partner with Samaritan College to stage the second annual
Samaritan Shines event at the College's Saint Johns Campus under perfect late Spring skies.

"Shines" usually marks our Samaritan Band Programme's final appearance of the school year -
although in our record-breaking 2022 there was still more to come!

Our Secondary and Primary Band members joined forces to provide a great toe-tapping repertoire
as Samaritan showcased its very best to the Whyalla community.

We were delighted to also stage several outstanding Vocal and Dance Soloists on the night - many being
long-term Stormfront students who are becoming seasoned Professionals with every post-Covid gig we can muster:

WELL DONE Ciara, Bethany, Nadia, Katie, Issy, Jack & Nyasha!

CHECK OUT 2022 Samaritan Shines here!

Friday 25th November saw Mark & Alison donate their annual PA & performance to host the Asbestos Victims Association
annual Rememberance Ceremony at Whyalla's Mount Laura Homestead - it's always
our honour to participate in this moving event though sadly each year fewer victims remain.

We were appalled and disgusted that upon AVA Volunteers arriving to set-up "as usual" this years ceremony on the
Homestead's lawn area that Whyalla City Council told them they'd have to pay $40/hour rental of the space, or stage
their ceremony in the garden beds as they were also not welcome to utilise the nearby empty conference room or "Pod".

In our opinion the Administrative Whyalla City Council need to be dismissed,
and the city start again.

Our astonishingly busy November wrapped as we saw Stormfront Alumni Romy Foote
returning to our studio to record a very special Christmas gift -
a sensational version of the epic Alicia Keys song "Empire State Of Mind"!

DECEMBER

December 1st saw Mark sending away our final album artwork and audio master to our friends
at Implant Media in Melbourne for manufacturing - finally CD's were about to be born!

Romy collected her super studio recording - and we filmed & submitted more
Con Brio Video Exams for several students with excellent results.

December 14th saw us donating PA & on-stage support to assist and support our Sunrise Year 6 Band
members as they performed at the schools Praise & Worship Assembly with fantastic results.

WELL DONE Jasmine, Rachel, Sarah & Kerryann for what you've achieved in 2022 - again "the sky's the limit!"

2 days later we were in for an "all-day-and-all-nighter" as we sponsored & provided sound and lights for
Sunrise Christian School's inaugural Sunrise Twilight Carols - planned to become an annual event.

What a night and what potential into the future this celebration has -
WELL DONE Sunrise crew - we look forward to being part of this
special night and seeing it grow next year, and beyond!

Saturday 10th December saw us in Port Augusta to stage a Christmas Piano Recital concert for our far flung
School Of The Air students, some of whom had travelled for days from as far away as near the NT border to attend.

What a super experience to finally meet in-person these outstanding young people -
and WHAT a performance they put on to complete our unexpected SOTA Term 4!

The big day saw the 1-hour Recital cap off the kids' annual finishing up programme in
Port Augusta - they also took a such fun 4-hour final group lesson with us prior, and had
already participated in SOTA's series of other curriculum-based activities - one of their
rare opportunities for face-to-face when usually only a satellite link connects us all!

8am the next morning saw us again donating our annual lighting set-up to St. James Lutheran Church
for the staging of their church community's Christmas Play.

Monday 12th December saw us back to Middleback Arts Centre for the annual Samaritan College Prize Night.

In 2022 Prize Night saw our Senior Band Ensemble providing pre-show entertainment in the
Theatre foyer, while Soloist (and Stormfront student) Katie provided the Feature
Performance presented during the Awards Ceremony.

Katie also was awarded the Stormfront Award For Music Performance - and our most
outstanding Band students were also awarded for their efforts this year as follows:

2022
Samaritan "Excellence In Band" Award
Winners:

EXCELLENCE IN CLARINET - Isabella Garde
EXCELLENCE IN SAXOPHONE - Nicholas Manisalis
EXCELLENCE IN FLUTE - Ava Phillips
EXCELLENCE IN KEYBOARD - Lyla Phillips
EXCELLENCE IN BASS - Tadhg Kelly
EXCELLENCE IN PERCUSSION - Scott Skinner
EXCELLENCE IN GUITAR - Darcy Brougham
EXCELLENCE IN GUITAR - Jack Hammond

Each year these Awards are fully sponsored by Stormfront,
as-is the Stormfront Award For Music Performance.

We were delighted to receive confrmation from Sunrise Christian School that we'd be returning to provide on-campus
peripatetic music lessons in 2023 - we really look forward to building on this already wonderful partnership!

Saturday 17th December saw us provide our annual "final" performance at the
Iron Knob Christmas Dinner at Iron Knob Golf Club - it's always a joy to share
this time of year with a remote community who (lovingly & correctly!) consider themselves
the catalyst that introduced the 2 of us to each other, with the rest being history!

Iron Knob also served to unofficially launch our new album - Out Into The Blue -
which had finally returned from manufacturing in Melbourne 2 days earlier -
ready to take on the world in 2023!

CD albums signed by Mark & Alison are available now -
just click on the CD below to grab your advance copy!

As Sunday 18th December closed so did our Online Lessons after a hectic 2022 - and
Mark's Summer holiday had already evaporated as both Dani and Katie began studio projects
which now would continue beyond our 2023 restart.

Mr T. really hasn't looked like stopping for 3 straight calendar years now!

As an underline to a terrific 2022 Mark's Online Melbourne student Angus was approached to
enrol in the elite 2023 Junior Academy Of Country Music in Tamworth, NSW!

We'd now spend the week into Christmas helping Angus compile and submit his application to JACM -
in particular assisting with his video & audio content, plus acting as his Referees for this amazing opportunity.

Our final student-related job for 2022 was to film and submit our final round of Con Brio Video Exams....

CHECK OUT 2022 Con Brio year here!

As 2022 drew to a close we'd already received very strong 2023 Stormfront re-Enrolments,
our Samaritan College Band Programme likewise had an exceptional return rate registered,
and we were delighted to receive confirmation that Stormfront would now continue to provide (the 2023)
Piano Lesson Programme to Port Augusta School Of The Air with enrolments already doubled from our debut 2022!

THANK YOU to the Indulkaninna Foundation for your continued Sponsorship of this fantastic Programme!

AND there is now talk of an amazing additional project with SOTA in 2023 - stay tuned for this one folks!

With 2023 now looking even busier than 2022 - we invested a further $4000 on
our PA & lighting equipment ready to take on even bigger production challenges soon!

In 2022's final moments as sales rolled in from all over Australia our
Facebook promotions of our wonderful new album were yet again comprehensively targeted & trolled in a
pathetic display by the members of Whyalla City Council-endorsed Jack Daw and Hold My Beer bands.

And so another year closed and took with it SO MANY legendary musicians, and icons -
among many others we lost forever Glenn Wheatley, Archie Roach, Judith Durham,
Olivia Newton John, Queen Elizabeth II
, Loretta Lynn, Christine McVie & Jerry Lee Lewis.

We see John Farnham fighting cancer -
Covid threatening a major resurgence - and a
planet rapidly losing battles with war & spiralling climate change.

We invite everyone to explore our new album - it's been a long time coming but
we're really proud of it, and the story it tells about us and our journey together.

With a minimum year-long album campaign now ahead of us - 2023 is definitely keen to run!
