Samaritan College is a three-campus, Reception to Year 12 Catholic Education school in Whyalla.
The Samaritan College Band Programme is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn & grow in a
musical environment - where they not only develop techniques on their chosen instrument -
but also teamwork, communication, flexibility, resilience and an overarching sense of fun!
In 2023 - for the sixth consecutive year - Stormfront coordinated & directed this exciting programme!
The Samaritan College Band Programme is open to students in years 4 and above across all three campuses.
Students learn Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums and Percussion, with opportunities to
also play Keyboard, Ukulele and Sing, enjoying a diverse repertoire and performance opportunities during the year.
In 2023 our Band's main performance focus was the 3rd annual "Samaritan Shines" event, with members
also participating in a host of other great performances and opportunities including Patrons Day, Annie Jr,
Whyalla's McHappy Day, a visit from the Tabor Institute of Music, and Samaritan Prize Night.
