Monday 11th December found Stormfront helping Samaritan College to stage
their annual Prize Night at Whyalla's Middleback Arts Centre.
Our first job of the night -
providing Entry Music for dignitaries & attendees in the Theatre foyer.
Our Senior Band Ensemble kept everyone entertained with a super
rockin' setlist of songs ranging from Ballads to Heavy Metal!
Part 2 -
Time to present our 2023 "Excellence In Band" Awards for
outstanding Instrumentalists in this year's Samaritan School Band Programme.

Presentation of our 2023 Stormfront Award For Musical Excellence.
Stormfront for several years now has also been an "in cash and in-kind" Sponsor of
the College's annual acknowledgement of a student for their outstanding
commitment to, and talent & achievements in the field of Music.
In 2023 the Stormfront Award For Musical Excellence was accepted by
not one - BUT TWO - astonishingly talented young people:
Isabella Garde
....our longest-ever Stormfront student - and the only student to have participated in our
Samaritan Band Programme from start (in Year 5) to finish (in Year 12).
She was Awarded for her ceaseless dedication to her music, and for the
inspiration she has provided to so many young Band members,
and so many fellow students over such an amazing journey.
Issy you'll always be part of the family,
you're a true Stormfront Legend!
Nyasha Mativenga
....has always thrown herself into College Arts & Music -
and in 2023 has really begun to enter a rare standard of ability & achievement.
As Lead Character Annie in this year's School Musical - Nyasha simply
blew us all away in a stellar set of performances truly worthy of Broadway.
Even more impressively she has worked tirelessly to improve her already significant
vocal, piano and guitar abilities - and part of her prize package is enough
Stormfront Studio time to start recording her newly written,
and on-going set of Original songs!
We can't wait to get to work on this project Nyasha -
and to see what's next as your steamrolling talents emerge still further!
As Prize Night '23 hit fullspeed it was our absolute thrill to stage our
2022 Stormfront Award Winner KT Stott to sing her ASME Songwriting Award winning
Original song "He Is Worthy" to an enthralled audience.
WHAT a performance KT - and what a way to celebrate your 3-song EP hitting
International digital streaming platforms only yesterday!
KT's EP - and it's production in the Stormfront Studio - was part of her
prize package in winning her Stormfront Award in 2022 - a mere 12 months ago!
Finally - to wrap a brilliant night - we watched and celebrated with KT Stott as she was
announced as Winner of the 2023 Middleback Arts Award recognising
outstanding achievement in Music, Arts and Performance.
Stormfront nominates the Winner of this prestigious Award each year -
and in 2023 who else could it be as KT has owned the Middleback stage itself!
