In 2014 Stormfront launched ROCK BAND 101-
a new initiative exclusively aimed at students up to the age of 16,
offering them rehearsal style group lessons.
ROCK BAND 101 allows students to apply the knowledge learned in lessons
to a practical performance situation.
Playing as part of a band builds a unique set of social and musical skills
and by placing young people into groups, learning becomes a team effort where they....
* Learn new musical instruments such as guitar, electric bass, drums, and keyboards
* Explore an interest in singing with a group
* Explore live sound reinforcement techniques
We pride ourselves on offering students a supportive and motivating environment.
The team dynamic makes it fun to practice and the band members are hands-on
in the learning experience.
Students are encouraged to participate in Rock Band 101for the full calendar year
as the programme is designed for students who want to develop in their music-making.
As an introductory level programme, no previous experience is needed.
The repertoire used in ROCK BAND 101 is carefully selected to be
age appropriate, suitable for all abilities, and most importantly
FUN to sing and play!
